Hang on for the quotes from the post-match ceremony
Sammy: "We dug ourselves into a hole when the spinners were bowling. we have to come better in the next game. i was surprised to see the spin and bounce in this wicket; we have to work in nets and come back on monday. We need to show more intent. We need more work in the nets with Dessie (desmond haynes). We will look to improve. We didnt get line and length, too many boundary balls .."
Afridi: "When Sammy said he wanted to bat, I was very happy. The boys did a great job. I did expect the pitch to turn; there was moisture on it and I know my boys are capable of doing it. Wahab is very talented; He did well agianst India ... he should be more focussed on his bowling;. Misbah proved that he is still alive and doing a great job!"
Man of the match is Hafeez: "I am doing hard work in the nets with the coaches. I am grateful to the coaches. The role given to me .. the captain is using me well. i try to restrict the batsman and I am getting the wickets with that. I just want to continue this form and contribute to the team. I am very happy that the team is doing well."
That's it from us/. Alvida!

Sabeen: "@Ahad I kinda think Pakistan need a combination of Akmal's and Shafiq's styles. Akmal is perfect for the last few overs and the batting powerplay. He adds excitement to the line up specially when Afridi isn't performing with the bat."
