As expected Sri Lanka coast home. There was a stage when Pakistan hit back with two wickets and turned this into a contest. But Kapugedera had the luxury of time to build an innings and he didn't have to take many risks.
Pakistan need to get their batting in order to stay in the series. They have to win the next three games to win the series. Tough ask though. They will have to rework their top order, get Imran Nazir in and not unnecessarily shuffle Afridi up and down the order.
Stay with us for the presentation.
Younis: "No partnerships, we're still making the same mistakes. On this wicket, 200 would have been difficult to chase."
Sangakkara: "Not as smooth as we hoped. The bowlers did a good job with the new ball. I thought Chamara and Samaraweera applied themselves well. Kapugedera is a special player, if we keep giving him opportunities he will serve SL well."
Kapugedera is the Man of the Match.
Thanks for your company today. Do join us on Monday, August 3 for the third match, at the same venue, and a 10.00 am start. Cheers!
