Pakistan have wrapped this up convincingly. Sri Lanka started well but then lost their openers in a space of three deliveries. Sangakkara and Jayawardene restored stability and got the chase back on track but once the Sri Lankan captain fell, the visitors wasted little time in shutting the opposition out. Pakistan were led superbly by Afridi, who scored a half-century, dismissed Kapugedara and ran out Mathews. He remains the favourite to be named Man of the Match. Pakistan end this tour on a high, and after the defeat in the Tests and the first three ODIs, they've notched up three consecutive wins which is some consolation. We'll get you the presentation details in just a bit.
Rameez Raja is showering praise on this big crowd for their support. The atmosphere, quite obviously, has rubbed off on him.
Sangakkara: "We tried, but you've got to go there and do it. We conceded around 20 runs too many, and our fielding wasn't up to mark. We got a couple of partnerships going but couldn't continue. We would have fancied chasing 150-odd but the last time India played here, they chased 170 and won. It's great to see such great crowds for a game. We need to up out standards and work hard against New Zealand."
Afridi: "I told them we are the champions and we played like champions. I like captaining, the guys are all playing positive cricket. The body language is very important especially in the shorter version, and being an aggressive captain I told the boys to play aggressive cricket. The bowlers did an excellent job."
He's also the Man of the Match.
That's all we have from here folks. Thanks for tuning in and sending us your feedback. It's been a pleasure bringing you the coverage for the tour and we hope you enjoyed it. Until next time, it's goodbye from all of us at Cricinfo. Take care and be well. Adios!
