Handshakes all round as the two teams appreciate each other's efforts. The batting again let Bangladesh down. Some adrenalin rush as ever and the starts were wasted. It has been an good tight contest, though and was good to watch. Shahadat had a great match, picking up nine wickets in the game but he would be disappointed by the effort of his batsmen. SA would be relieved they have sewed this one up and happy that their batsmen adapted to the conditions better in the second innings.

Ashraful: "The boys played well. I think we needed 50 or 60 runs more. We should have scored 250+ in the first innings. Shahadat bowled really well on this kind of track."

Smith: It was a hard-fought game and I am very happy. Our batting let us down in the first innings but when the pressure was on and it really counted the boys played well in the second innings.
