South African team members line up on the stairs for the customary hand shake. Not many people around celebrating. One of those quiet Test wins.
The day started off with South Africa needing 130 runs with 7 wickets in hand. At that point of time it was just advantage South Africa. Amla and Kallis looked very solid out there, they played the waiting game to precision and cashed in on the lack of intensity and lack of discipline from Pakistan. In the end it was a comprehensive victory. South Africa now lead the three match series 1-0 as we move to Port Elizabeth for the second match of the series. Man of the match : Hashim Amla. Hope you have enjoyed the coverage, Until next time this is Sajan Nair along with Sriram Veera signing off. Cheers.
