Thanks for joining us. Don't forget to hop over to another tab to follow India v South Africa from Eden Gardens. In Rawalpindi, Sri Lanka will play their second ODI against Pakistan. And of course we'll have all the lowdown from the IPL retentions for those keen. There's so much to consume, isn't it? Take care, see you'll very soon.

1pm Bangladesh were made to work a little longer than they would have liked on the fourth morning, but they've still sealed an innings victory with plenty to spare. Ireland offered a brief flicker of resistance as McCarthy and Jordan Neill cobbled together their highest ninth-wicket stand in Test history, yet it always felt like a matter of time before the innings folded.

Hasan Murad marked his debut with four wickets, Taijul Islam added three more, but the most encouraging sight for Bangladesh was the fire Nahid Rana brought to the attack. He bowled with pace, bite and relentlessness, repeatedly flirting with, even crossing, the 150kph mark. In Rana, Bangladesh look to have unearthed a genuine fast-bowling gem.

Join us for the presentations shortly.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossan Shanto: "Opening partnership was tremendous. Hope they'll continue. Murad waiting for so long, didn't get enough opportunities, he's been doing well in first-class cricket. Showed what a quality bowler he is, exciting bowler. Not like we want a spin-wicket, we wanna play on sporting wicket, all four days wicket looked pretty good."

Mahmudul Hasan Joy is the Player of the Match for his 171. "Disappointed to not get the double century, end of the day, played well. But happy overall. Excited about Mushfiqur's 100th Test. This track was pretty good to bat on, tried to keep my tactics simple."

"Tough cricket for us, they were better in every aspect. Wanted to fight for long periods, showed glimpses of that," says Ireland captain Andy Balbirnie. "We know how good they are in their own conditions. From skill point of view, we've to get there. That'll come with more matches. Proud of how we've gone about it last four days. The more our players are exposed to top-flight international cricket, they'll get better."

Taijul Islam to McCarthy, OUT, big appeal for caught behind, keeper reckons this took the leading edge on the way through to him as the batter tried to work it to the leg side. Ahsan Raza was confident this wasn't out, Bangladesh review. Ultra edge confirms a spike as ball passes the bat, so he'll have to go. And that's the end of the Test match.
