7.07pm Right, it was a long but thrlling ride bringing you this second T20I from Johannesburg. Terrific stuff from both teams, and South Africa just played a few of the percentages better with both bat and ball on the night. Pakistan return home without a trophy, but they can sign off with a win in the third and final match of the series, which comes your way wherever you join us from on Wednesday. For the moment, this is Debayan Sen signing off on behalf of all of my colleagues across the globe at ESPNcricinfo. Stay well and follow the game

Veni-Vidi-Dicti: "I just realised that I said Andrew Miller instead of David Miller in my comment with the prediction of the MoM and MoS earlier." --- Can't blame you...with all the cricket, it was just that kind of day for all of us at ESPNcricinfo too. Tune in to Stories on our Instagram or Facebook handle.

David Miller is the man of the match: "Very happy about that result. Got quite tight and stressful. The guys pulled through. (Last overs) You have to swing from the hip, and we got some momentum into our bowling effort. (Response when Azam was dismissed) We were a bit wide and short, and Sipamla was outstanding. The guys at the backend did really well. I thought I was the worst captain on the planet, to be honest, but they were always going to go hard in the Powerplay. It's a slow wicket, so we tried to bowl as many cutters as possible, and it came off. Really pleasing to finish (the tour) off on a high. Today we didn't leave it till the last day."

Shoaib Malik at the presentation: "It was an exceptional game, but you wanted to win the game. Not like the previous one. This time we had the game, but we couldn't hit the last couple of boundaries. (On Babar) He's a class player. Especially when you are playing on a good pitch against a good attack, you have to play good cricketing shots. The game shouldn't have gone to the 20th over, when you had so many wickets in hand. It happens, and the ball was new, and when you hit so many boundaries, the set batsman should finish the game. The partnership was excellent, but finishing crucial games is where we're lacking. We're going to sit and talk about it, particularly the last overs. (Imad Wasim) Of course, if some bowls 3 overs in the Powerplay and contains the batsmen...he's an exceptional talent, and we need a couple of other guys to perform that way. You need 3-4 bowlers to do well, and then you end up chasing 160 on a good wicket. (On Miller) He was struggling throughout the series, but he's a class player, and if he gets going we have to have two or three plans to stop him. He took the game away from us. We were in the game till the 15th over. Later we were expecting to chase about 180 but we gave away some extra runs. Every game is a new game, and a new opportunity. Whatever's happened has happened. If we get a similar situation in the coming games, the goal is to stay calm and not panic."

Mobeen : "yes the match loss hurts but what hurts most is the breaking of the 11 series winning streak" -- All streaks do come to an end some day...

Ashish Rawat : "Who's MOM... Miller or one of the bowlers? " --- I would make an exception here and give it to Babar Azam. Pity he couldn't see his team through, but arguably the best individual performance today

Shaan: "So Pakistan is going home without winning any format on this SA tour. It seems Mickey might have to justify this some way?"

Hamza Shah: "All the focus will be on the batting collapse, but the batting punched above its weight in both matches. Problem was with the bowling. Horrendous. Shinwari and Hasan lost Pak this match."

6.45pm South Africa win by 7 runs, and with that they take a 2-0 lead and win the series!

What a bizarre meltdown from Pakistan! They lost six wickets for 34 runs in the last 24 balls, and to be honest, some of you readers did call it.Taking no credit away from the South African bowlers, particularly Morris and Phehlukwayo, who were outstanding in the last two overs, while under severe pressure. Made the line and length they wanted, and built on the good work by Beuran Hendricks. The South African seamers won this match, as much as some scrambled late-overs thinking from Pakistan lost it. But 189 was always going to be an imposing target...

Asad: "A game that Pakistan really should have won. Babars wicket the turning point. It wouldn't have been the turning point if Hussain took the charge being the set batsman. Really disappointing from Pakistan fan point of view to come close twice in big chases and lose both times."

Muhammad Zaib: "South Africa improve match by match They won 1st match by 6 runs now won by 7 runs may b they win the 3rd match by 8 runs"

Phehlukwayo to Mohammad Rizwan, 1 run, comes down the wicket and pushes the ball towards extra cover

Upesh sharma: "I used to watch cricket for pakistan's bowling and Afridi's batting but now i watch it for their world famous collapses."

"Hassan Ali was sent above the order in last over, are you kidding me? What the hell is going on in Pakistan dressing room," fumes Arslan Satti
