3.45 pm: The update on rain is that there is no update. It's still falling steadily in Lahore. "Unrelenting," is how Danyal describes it.

The update from Danyal is that we have started losing overs from 2.30 pm local time. The cut-off time for the match to be called off is 4.30 pm, so we're still some way far from that.

Usman Qadir, son of Abdul Qadir (any LOTR fans?) who had once declared his desire to play for Australia, is likely to make his debut today. Thoughts? Of course, provided we have a toss.
