There's another game coming up between Colombo Strikers versus B-Love Kandy. Join us for that one. On behalf of Sudeep Poojar, this is Rvel Zahid signing off.

Galle were right on top of their game in this crucial encounter and put relentless pressure on the reigning champions right from the start. Rajitha, the chief tormenter, picked up four prized scalps in his scorching spell and plunged Jaffna into total chaos while Kumara backed him up with a sterling performance, coming back from injury, and picking up two wickets before Shamsi and Shakib spun a web around the batters and ended up restricting Kings on a paltry score of 89. Kings batted abysmally and this huge defeat has taken a blow to their net-run-rate. In reply, Tim Seifert was exceptional with the bat, and ensured that no feathers were ruffled. He notched up a well-orchestrated half-century that made light work of the chase. Galle still have a game to go but Kings are done as far as the round robin stage is concerned.

Kasun Rajitha, Player of the Match: Actually, I am focusing on hitting right lengths and lines. Usually, new ball swings nicely, I bowled at the right lengths and that's the reason I managed to bowled well. (enjoyed dismissing Shoaib Malik the most).

Striker of the Match award goes to Tim Seifert

Thisara Perera, Jaffna Kings Captain: We have the heaviest batting line-up but they couldn't post a proper total. I think the decision to bat was the right one. I was aiming for 150 on the wicket and was trusting my bowling to defend it. Last few years, we dominated in first six overs, so the only issue is first six overs, after that we have done well. It happens in cricket, today was our bad day...we have to wait for other results.

Dasun Shanaka, Galle Titans Captain: A much needed victory for us in terms of qualifying for the playoffs, the whole bowling unit (did well), once Kasun got going, everyone (chipped in). The wickets playing differently here...at Pallekele it played exactly the way we expected. It's slightly better if we make better pitches for a tournament like this. See, one game at a time, we had clear plans for this game against Jaffna. They got a heavy batting line up so we will come with plans for the next game and execute them.

Shoaib Malik to Shanaka, 2 runs, Creates room and heaves this floated ball on middle. It lands between fielders at deep midwicket and long on as they come back for the second run to seal the game.

Shoaib Malik to Shakib Al Hasan, OUT, Gives himself room and tries to go over extra cover, didn't get all of it and Miller takes a stupendous running catch at long-off, they are checking if it's a no ball, looks like he got some part of the shoe behind the line. Two batters have attempted to finish the game with a boundary and not succeeded

Ran: "What's happening to JK ?" They have been stunned by this clinical performance from Galle
