2.1 Jaffna in dire straits! He threads the needle to find just enough seam movement to take Madushka's outside edge and another one bites the dust. Rajitha is absolutely pumped up, gives him a fiery send-off. The lengths and lines have been spot on from the bowling spearheads, this was pitched on a shortish length and was zipping away in the channel, squaring him up and he goes feeling for it 7/3
0.3 Oh, a rash shot, he was not in control at all while trying to play an upper-cut! That is a massive breakthrough, just a brain-freeze moment for Gurbaz and he lost his shape as he slices this in the air and well caught by the man (Bowes) at deep backward point, kept his eyes locked on the ball and settled underneath the skier. Success straightaway for Rajitha as he digs this into the pitch and gets good bounce just angling it away on a nagging length 1/1
1.2 Dragged on! Hits the deck hard and bowling gas, pitches it on a hard length and keeps it a touch outside off, he threw his hands at it, was too close to cut, ends up making a mess of his stumps! Galle have got off to a brilliant start. It was a wild hack and Lynn has pushed his side into some trouble early in the game 7/2
11.3 Bit of air and this turns extravagantly outside off, takes the outside edge and the keeper takes a sharp catch. Shamsi brings out his unique shoe-celebration and the entire team is having a ball out there 56/8
2.3 It's carnage out there! Malik perishes! Huge breakthrough, this one held its line and kept a touch low. A crackerjack! Hits the off stump and breaches Malik's defences with a pinpoint delivery, on a line where he had to play. He has absolutely bamboozled him and Jaffna are now staring into the abyss. They need massive rebuilding work now. Malik got squared up and missed the straight ball, pegged back and exposed his stumps. 7/4
4.2 No way! This is unbelievable. Miller is gone for five. Rajitha slams it into the pitch on a nagging off stump line and he gets stuck on the crease, chips it back to the bowler who makes no mistake. A very vicious fist-pump and a very loud scream, Rajitha is on fire! It was on a length and he pushed hard at it 21/5
6.6 Huge appeal for an lbw and the umpire raises the dreaded finger! Fizzed in full and straight on middle, held its line and raps his front pad, looked pretty adjacent. Gunaratne decides to take second opinion on this. Well, there is no spike on the ultra-edge as the ball passes the bat. The technology says that it's pitching in line, impact is in line and the umpire's call will hold. Three reds! Just enough grip, turn and hitting the middle. He departs for seven. 38/6! 38/6
9.4 Now that's a tremendous riposte, this has been the tale of this innings. Another one loses the plot. Very slow through the air and he loads up for a big hoick across the line to the leg side, gets an inside edge onto the pad and then it deflects onto the stumps, didn't pick the googly. Smiles all around for Shamsi and his teammates. Galle have kept them on a leash and the innings is going nowhere. That's a sorry looking scorecard for Jaffna 55/7

18.6 Disturbs the furniture! Spears in a pinpoint inswinging yorker that uproots the middle stump and Madushanka has to take the long walk back into the pavilion. Good sings for Sri Lanka and Galle; Kumara has been on top of his game after recovering from injury. A fine spell comes to an end 80/9
19.6 Takes the pace off the ball and lands it on a length outside off, drags it across the line to long-on and he is struggling out there, Thushara can't make his ground and gets run out 89/10

4.3 Humped down the ground and he gets his man! Slow through the air, at his pads, he pounds it over the bowlers head towards long-off where Shoaib Malik was stationed; he tracks the ball from the bat, into the air and then in his hands, pouches it really well. 34/1
12.3 Looking for a glory shot to finish it off in style but thwacks it straight to Perera at short cover who instinctively flicks out his hands, and the ball sticks in it. He was looking to go over the fielder but just didn't get enough elevation 85/2

13.2 Gives himself room and tries to go over extra cover, didn't get all of it and Miller takes a stupendous running catch at long-off, they are checking if it's a no ball, looks like he got some part of the shoe behind the line. Two batters have attempted to finish the game with a boundary and not succeeded 88/3
