Right, that closes our coverage tonight. Thank you for joining us and we'll see you on Tuesday!
Rajapaksa: When you bat on good wickets, the confidence the batters didn't have in Khetarrama, they showed here. I think our team is very well balanced at the moment, I don't want to change that. I think this is a good habit, beating the reigning champions. Special credit should go to the bowlers, the way they handled the pressure. The way Thushara batted, the future is bright for Sri Lanka.
Thisara: It happens in cricket. We gave 25-30 runs more, that's the reason for the loss. Our boys are doing good job the last 2-3 matches. We will come back strongly. So far we've played on really nice wickets here, not so much in Colombo. It's difficult to suddenly adapt, but we will be back.
Mendis: The pitches were different between Premadasa and here. It was easy batting with Gunathiaka. I've been practicing hard with the coaches at SCC.
Kusal Mendis is the Player of the Match.
Uzair: "It has been all thusara tonight!."
Anne: "Gladiators conqured Jaffna three times in a row"
DA: "8/10 all time best bowling figures of the Lanka Premier League have come this season. Truly is a bowlers tournament this time around. "
11.58pm Galle are through to the final again. The defending champions Jaffna will have to take a longer route if they want to make it again. They're now consigned to Qualifier 2, where they will play Dambulla Giants. It's a second chance and one that they'll be grateful for, because it has been bang ordinary from them tonight. They had no answers for Galle's opening pair, they had no answers against Thushara, and it was only two batters who got into double figures for them. Gurbaz was sensational, but it was a whole lot of slipping and sliding around him after they lost early wickets. At no point were they remotely in control of this match, apart from the toss they won.
