Replays show it was the outswinger rather than the ball leaving him off the seam, but it went very late, after angling in initially 4/2

Defends and the ball takes the shoulder of the bat and flies quickly towards the cordon, where Bairstow dives to his left from second slip and plucks it one-handed in front of Root at first. It was going so quickly that the ball was behind Bairstow's body when he caught it 34/1
