That's all from our side for this game. See you soon.
Babar Azam: The wicket was a bit difficult, not easy to bat on. So the credit goes to our middle order - Fakhar, Khushdil and how Nawaz finished. We could have bowled them earlier, we ended up conceding 15-20 runs extra but that happens in cricket.
Hasan Ali is the Player of the Match: I would like thank Allah first of all. Obviously, it's a pleasant moment for me. My performance wasn't up to the mark in the World Cup but you have ups and downs in your career. I have been here during the BPL and I know it's generally a slow pitch. So I bowled stump to stump and got wickets.
Mahmudullah: I think when we chose to bat first, it looked a pretty good wicket to bat on but there was help for bowlers too. Hopefully, we can come up with a better plan tomorrow. It would have been better to get 140 but with 127, we thought if we could get a couple of wickets early on, which our bowlers did, Taskin, Fizz, Mahedi, we were very close but the credit goes to their last two batters.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
Shihab Karim: "People can talk all about BD's lack of big hitters, consistent batters, X factor bowlers. But what's obvious is the lack of mentality in this team. They fold very easily, and in spectacular fashion"
Sumail Hussain: "This shows that Pakistan knows the conditions of Bangladesh better than other teams which struggled in recent past"
Shah Safeer: "Kids were worried that Pakistan are gonna shell this one out but legends knew that's how we PLAY cricket!!"
Rizwan Zafar: "This is the Pakistan team we , the Pak fans, have known for years and not the one we recently saw in T20 WC. Collapse, comeback and heartbreaks!"
5.40pm It turned out to be much closer than it looked like at the halfway stage. Around the 16 over mark, it even started to look like Bangladesh could pull this off but those vital hits from Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz sealed the game for Pakistan with four balls to spare. You cannot fault with Bangladesh's bowlers, their batters need to take the blame for putting up only 127.
Just two needed now. Doesn't matter who bowls here. Finally here's Aminul
