10:21pm Hetmyer and Lawrence are indulging in some stretching, and they could be two of the three Vipers batters that might feature. James Foster, the Vipers head coach, is engaged in some discussion with the umpires. Not sure what that is about, but it is delaying proceedings a touch. And those chats are still ongoing. We really should have gotten cracking by now.
10:17pm Wow. What a game. And we are still not done yet. This game had everything. The Vipers were rocked early and were drifting out of the game until Lawrence and Curran got together. The former did the bulk of the heavy lifting but perished before the end, meaning the rest then had to set up with cameos, and that they did.
The Giants will look back at the five wides they conceded in the penultimate over as a possible turning point. Prior to that, they had held their nerve, with Omarzai the pick of the bowlers. But those extra runs conceded at the end means that they now have to navigate through a Super Over to ensure that their record remains spotless.

3 off 1. Super Over seems like the likeliest outcome at this stage
