23.1 and Rohit misses out on a ton. Madushanka bowls a length ball across him, possibly too full to be trying to run it square on the off side. Gets an inside edge, and loses his off and middle 173/2
19.4 plays right across the line of this one. He has given it away. It always looked like it would need a mistake from a batter to get out here. That is what has happened. On a length, slight tail in, and Gill is looking to play it square. Misses it. Given out lbw. No review taken. That shot notwithstanding, it was a superb innings from Gill 143/1
48.2 three strikes and out. Finally Rajitha has Kohli. For the last five-six overs or so Kohli has looked like he has lost juice. None of his attempted big shots have travelled. I never thought I would be saying that of Kohli. He is still good enough to have scored 113 off just 87. Tries the big slog, done in by the slower one, and Mendis takes the skier 364/7
29.1 Iyer has been full of intent, but DdS is a canny bowler. Iyer is trying the big sweep, but doesn't quite reach its pitch, and gets a top edge to deep square leg. A welcome break for Sri Lanka as this is shaping up to be a big score 213/3
40.5 Rahul gets inside the line of a length ball to look to go over short fine leg, but he is early into the shot, and somehow he has given him just a small look at the leg stump because he has gone inside the line. And the offcutter hits the top of leg 303/4
44.2 again the wide slower ball, and Pandya wants to hit it for a six. Swings hard, but gets only the toe-end on it, and is caught at long-on 330/5
47.5 looks to drag this bouncer from outside off, ends up edging it to extra cover. The dropped catch notwithstanding, this has been a good effort from Sri Lanka in the last 10 overs 362/6

30.4 caaaaatch is the call and it's taken at midwicket. That time there's proper bounce. And at high pace. Nissanka goes for the pull shot on instinct. Soon as he sees the ball short, he goes for it, on the front foot, at a 142 kph cross-seam delivery that's coming up towards his chest. That's too high. That's not enough leverage. That's a top edge and an easy catch 161/5
3.5 Spliced to Hardik who settles underneath this skier. Siraj shifts his length. Much fuller on off, Avishka eyes up the leg side, but ends up skewing it in the air. Hardik pouches this safely at mid-off 19/1
5.3 Siraj storms through the defences of Mendis and castles him. 142.1ks, good length and ducks back in sharply at middle. Not a drive ball, but Mendis still goes for the shot and is emphatically beaten on the inside edge. What a ball. What a bowler! 23/2
13.6 short and angling down the leg side once again. Malik strangles Asalanka down the leg side this time. 144.5ks and heading down the leg side, Asalanka does not get enough bat on ball. He decides against a review and walks off. Rahul dives across to his right and grabs the ball. Hang on, replays indicate that Asalanka did not hit it. It carried low to Rahul off the towel.SL have missed a trick 64/3
24.5 Shami draws the edge and Rahul pouches it safely. On a length and bends away against the inward angle from over the wicket. De Silva jabs at the ball with hard hands with very little footwork and nicks it behind. Shami comes back and provides India with the breakthrough 136/4

31.6 very cool catch!. Umran Malik is running across Shreyas Iyer who came running in from long-on. There is a very real possibility of a collision. Or at the very least confusion, resulting in a drop. But Shreyas has his eyes on the skier. Settles calmly underneath it. Takes it and only then gestures to his team-mate to do better. Hasaranga's attempts to dance down the track and launch a length ball into orbit does not work this time 178/6
32.2 caught at slip. Sri Lanka are crumbling quickly here. This is 143 kph from around the wicket to the left-hander. Wellalage looks to glance it behind point. He's hoping to make better connection but all he gets is an outside edge that travels quickly to Gill at slip. Good catch, reverse cup, in front of his face. 179/7
37.5 Caught at mid-on. On-pace length delivery on middle, Karunaratne ventures down the track and aims to pump Pandya over mid-on, but does not enough elevation. Mis-hits it to Rohit 206/8
