Reeza Hendricks, Player of the Match: Quite pleased to get three figures. It's been a while since I reached that milestone, nice to contribute. It's been a while since we won a series so that's obviously a very special night. First over, five dots and got away, and so the moment I got that away, things started to click. I'm happy that I found the middle and things worked out in the end. One of those nights, the shots I played came off, obviously it was a tactic to target the short boundary (on leg side). (On partnership with Rassie van der Dussen) playing with Rassie back at the Lions, so we kind of know each other, team needed a massive partnership at that time, and it's always nice to bat with Rassie; he played an unbelievable knock himself

There's much to reflect on for Pakistan and plenty to celebrate for South Africa, as the hosts clinched the series with an inexperienced bowling attack. The depth and quality in their batting came to the fore and they chased down a challenging total clinically. Reeza Hendricks' dominance during the chase, staying perfectly in sync throughout his stay at the crease, was truly a special sight. Pakistan were under pressure from the outset and their bowlers endured a torrid outing but they've less than 24 hours to recover as both teams will meet again tomorrow for the final T20I of the series. On behalf of K. Vairavan, this is Rvel Zahid signing off. Firdose Moonda's match report will be up soon so do check it out--I know I will!

Abbas Afridi to van der Dussen, SIX, Kaboom! Van der Dussen hits it out of the sweet spot; carted over deep backward square for a six and South Africa win the series 2-0. It was a back of the hand slower one on a length at off and he was not bothered by it at all, had eons to rock back and deposit it at deep square rope. Hands up in the air and soaks up the applause. The depth in the batting was enough to chase down this stiff total. One of the finest chases with Reeza Hendricks being the main architect. Lots to ponder for Pakistan who had the services of their premier pacers, but they seemed out of sorts and struggled big time

Henna: "Absolutely don't understand why Rizwan has not been experimental with his bowlers this series. Saim Ayub was not given a single over when asufyan Muqeem and Haris Rauf were conceding way too many runs!"

Abbas Afridi to van der Dussen, 2 runs, Gets a couple. Shortish and width on offer, pulled away to deep midwicket, van der Dussen slips multiple times, loses his bat, still makes it. Irfan charges in and pings a throw at the wrong (bowler's end).

Zubair Islam : "Pak hit 9 sixes in total while SA struck 16 ... that's the major difference"

Haris Rauf to van der Dussen, SIX, What a terrific response, that has been insolently pumped over Haris Rauf's head for a huge six, missed the yorker by a fraction and that was enough for van der Dussen, violent hit

Haris Rauf to van der Dussen, no run, Precious dot ball. Gets it wider on this occasion, another superb yorker, he is bowling his heart out. Close to 150kph

Haris Rauf to Klaasen, FOUR, Knew what was coming and was ready for it; another wide yorker but he is equal to the task, opens the face and beautifully carves it away behind backward point and into the gap for four. Super shot!

Abbas Afridi to van der Dussen, 2 runs, Slow and dipping at him from a length towards middle, deflected away to deep midwicket and that's a comfortable couple, Dussen is still out there and gets to a superbly timed half-century. Now he has to take the driving seat and get the job done. Pakistan will try to create some panic. It's not over yet

1
Abbas Afridi to Klaasen, 1 run, Fullish length, holding its line outside off, pushes it down the ground and long-on and long-off run towards each other, keep the pair down to one

Abbas Afridi to Hendricks, OUT, Not to be. Perishes and won't be there till the end to guide his team to doorstep of win but he has done his job; it was a spellbinding century, and he decimated Pakistan's bowling attack. Short and attacks the stumps but doesn't offer much pace to work with, Irfan, has got the safest pair of hands in Pakistan team, and hangs onto it well at deep midwicket. Hendricks receives a loud cheer from the spectators. It was a classy knock to say the least

Abbas Afridi to Hendricks, FOUR, That will make the equation easier for South Africa, another timely hit. Fraction short on sixth stump line, slapped up and over backward point for a four, looks like he is destined to get his team over the line, it's been an immaculate innings

1
Abbas Afridi to van der Dussen, 1 run, Not carrying to the fielder long-on; shortish at off, big mow down the ground and Irfan collects it on one bounce

Abbas Afridi to Hendricks, 1 run, Low slow full-toss dipping on the toes, pulled to short fine, fumble allows them to complete the single with ease. Pakistan seem deflated after the onslaught from Hendricks and van der Dussen

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Hendricks, no run, Smartly bowled. Short of a length, whizzing it away in the channel, tries to pull and can only connect with fresh air

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Hendricks, 1 run, Slung down full on off and stabs it away to long-off

1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to van der Dussen, 1 run, It's just been that kind of day for Pakistan bowlers. Bowled full around the line off, drilled down and could have been a lot more dangerous, hits him on the shoulder, close to the chin and he is a strong man, doesn't show pain, physio is out to check and, in the meanwhile, the ball raced away to long-off boundary
