74.1 Terrible mix-up. Rodrigues comes down the track to a full delivery outside off and taps this to mid-on. Shafali hesitated a bit and was blocked by the bowler but decided to take the run. Rodrigues is already at the non-striker's end. Keeper Jafta is quick to collect the ball and take the bails off. Replays confirm that Shafali is short of the crease. The Chidamabaram Stadium gives a loud cheer as she walks out 411/3
51.6 edged and South Africa finally have a wicket! Mandhana falls a run short of 150! Fizzed through on a length just outside off. Mandhana, perhaps knowing what she needs to get to 150, pokes at it with an open bat face. The ball straightens just enough and takes the outside edge. Dercksen swoops down sharply and completes the catch. Smiles in the South African camp; Mandhana, meanwhile, walks off to a standing ovation from her teammates and the crowd. An innings of the highest order! 292/1
58.6 edged and taken! Another breakthrough for South Africa, on the stroke of tea! Shortish outside off and this seems to skid through a shade. Shubha, like she was doing earlier in the over, has a waft at it and manages to nick it through to Jafta, who snaffles up a sharp chance. Might have been an under-edge and that makes the catch even better. South Africa are jubilant, and these wickets have arrived like London buses - not many in the morning but relatively quickly now! 325/2
86.6 goes straight up, and Rodrigues has to depart! Dangles the carrot on a length just outside off, and Rodrigues bites. Steps down the track, trying to smash it over cow corner but loses all shape. The ball might have just held in the surface too and all of that means Rodrigues skews it off the leading edge. de Klerk settles under it at extra cover and makes no mistake. Tucker is elated; Rodrigues, not quite, and she has to walk back after a promising-looking 55! 450/4
112.4 big appeal, not given! Length delivery angling into off stump. Harmanpreet moves across her stumps and then swings at it. Seems to miss it and the ball clips her on the pads. Umpire Virender Sharma is unmoved but South Africa have taken this upstairs, just in the nick of time. Did it strike Harmanpreet in line? If it did, this could be very close. No bat involved. Impact is in line, and Ball Tracking has the ball smashing into middle stump. Decision overturned and the India skipper has to go! 593/5
115.1 massive appeal, and given! Reviewed straightaway! Darted in full on middle and leg. Ghosh, like she did in the last over, tries the sweep. Seems to miss this one, though, and gets rapped on the pads. Mlaba goes up, and so does the umpire's finger. This looked pretty adjacent, unless Ghosh has hit it. Seemed to straighten a touch too after pitching. There are murmurs on UltraEdge but nothing when the ball is next to the bat. All eyes on Ball Tracking now...and it reckons the ball would have thundered into leg stump. It took an awful while to build, but when it did, it signalled the end for Ghosh in this innings! And it looks like India have declared their innings too! 603/6

7.6 Gone now! Big, big wicket for India. Rana gets the first wicket. Slightly short outside off but it stayed low and spun in, Wolvaardt went for a pull and completely missed it. Trapped in front and it's plumb. Umpire raises the finger immediately. 33/1
30.4 edged and gone! Rana has two! Similar length, similar line and similar speed. Bosch, after what happened the previous ball, is forced into feeling for it. This one, though, does not spin and instead goes straight on. Healthy outside edge and Deepti snaffles up a smart chance at slip. India have the breakthrough they were after, and Bosch departs after a promising knock! 96/2

59.5 massive appeal, and Luus has to go this time! Back of a length, pitches on off and then spins back in. Luus, like she has been content to do for much of this session, stays back and tries to defend. The ball, though, spins just enough to go past the inside edge and rap her on the pads. Seems pretty adjacent but Luus wants to have another look. No bat involved and the ball struck her on the back pad. This could be curtains for Luus. And indeed it is. Ball Tracking reckons it would have smashed into middle stump, two-thirds of the way up. Big wicket for India! 189/3

76.1 Rana gets the first breakthrough! Extra bounce does it. Tossed up on off and middle stump, Kapp goes back to defend but the extra bounce mean the ball pops up to take the top of off stump after beating the outside edge. Rana gets her fourth wicket. Massive, massive one. Kapp departs for a well-made 74 249/5
62.4 nicked and taken smartly by Ghosh behind the stumps! Fizzed through on a length outside off. Drops on Tucker late and forces her to reach out for it. The ball grips too, spinning back sharply and the ball grazes the inside edge as Tucker pokes at it. Ghosh tracks it all the way and then snares the chance. India are delighted; South Africa just losing their way a little! 198/4
80.1 wicket off the first ball of the over for Rana! Sixth for her. It's a full length ball on leg stump, de Klerk goes back to put this away to leg side, there is some power on it, but it goes straight into the hands of Gayakwad at square leg, who dives in front to complete the catch. 258/8
76.5 Loud appeal! But the umpire is unmoved. India take the review. Full length delivery on off and middle stump, Jafta goes deep to flick. Replays confirm that the ball came off the inside edge of the bat and then touched her left thigh to short leg where Shuba Satheesh then completed the catch. Five-for Rana! 249/6
79.6 Oh, that stayed very low! Fuller outside off stump, spun in sharply as Dercksen goes back to defend but her bat is nowhere near the ball because of how low it stayed. Gets hit on the back pad. South Africa review this immediately. Three reds are up! There is no inside edge. Would have hit the off and middle stump. Deepti gets her second wicket. South Africa in trouble 258/7

82.3 Seven-for! Rana is elated. Wolvaardt is stunned. Tossed up on off stump, spun in sharply and stayed low, Klaas lets this go, probably thinking it would go straight. A little brain-fade moment? But it takes her off stump after pitching. Excellent display of spin bowling 260/9

84.3 Eighth wicket for Rana! What a spell, what a performance. South Africa are bowled out for 266! Tossed up on off, spun in sharply and stayed low as Mlaba went for a cross-batted shot to leg side. Ball beats her inside edge to take the middle stump. 266/10

105.5 another vociferous appeal, and this time, the finger goes up! Length on middle and leg, and Wolvaardt goes back. Wolvaardt has been doing that all innings but on this occasion, the ball skids on a little quicker than she anticipates. Keeps a touch low too and beats her on the flick. Gets pinned on the pads in front of leg stump and Gayathri Venugopalan had no hesitation raising her finger. Wolvaardt has reviewed, though. Was it heading down leg? No bat involved and Ball Tracking has the ball thumping into leg stump. India are elated; Wolvaardt, after a stellar knock, has to walk back! 281/5
7.4 that has kept awfully low, and Bosch has to walk back! Back of length on middle and off, and this almost rolls along the ground. Bosch, like she did the previous ball, stays back but when the ball does not bounce, that usually signals the end. Sneaks under the bat as Bosch hurriedly stabs down on it and smacks her right in front of middle and leg on the back pad. The umpire has no qualms in raising her finger, and Bosch does not bother with the review either. Wry smile on her face, nothing she could have done to prevent this! 16/1

73.2 Harmanpreet goes through Luus, and she is absolutely chuffed! This is the breakthrough India wanted! Back of a length just outside off. Luus has been going back to that length all day long and does so again. The only danger to that ploy, though, is when the ball skids on and keeps low. This does exactly that and Luus, trying to hurriedly hack it to leg, is beaten for pace. Clips the outside of off stump, and Luus walks back, to a standing ovation from her teammates! 206/2

98.5 Deepti gets the breakthrough! Loud appeal and the finger goes up. Kapp decides to review. Too full outside off stump, stays low, spun sharply in, she plays the wrong length on the backfoot and misses it. Ball hits straight on her front pad. Replays confirm that it would be hitting the off stump. Kapp has to depart 264/3
99.4 India are celebrating! Is that out? Fuller outside off stump, lofts it in front of cover where Rodrigues dives in front and collects the ball very low. It came off the toe end of the bat. Replays confirm that it's a clean catch. Excellent game awareness from Rodrigues 266/4

154.4 cleans her all ends up! Slowed up delightfully on a length on off. de Klerk looks at the flight and wants to hit this into the sea. Only connects with fresh air, though, and the ball sneaks past her swinging blade to thunder into off stump. India have finally bowled South Africa out, after 154.4 overs, and the finish line is now within sight, just 37 runs away! 373/10
140.2 edged and taken beautifully! 10 in the match for Rana, and she has come up clutch again! Fizzed through on a length just outside off. Does not spin back in, instead going on with the arm. Jafta, playing for the turn, nibbles at it and gets a healthy outside edge. Shubha snaps down low to her left and gobbles it up inches off the turf. The third umpire wants to confirm if the catch is clean but no problems there. South Africa eight down! 334/8
120.4 Vastrakar gets her first! Short of a length delivery angling in to the right-hander, ball keeping low again, Dercksen goes deep in crease to flick and misjudges the line, misses it. Trapped in front. Beaten for pace. It's plumb. Umpire raises his finger immediatley. India inching closer to a Test win 310/6
134.3 oh dear, that is a calamity for South Africa! Back of a length outside off. de Klerk taps it into the off side and sets off for a single Sekhukhune has no intention of running. de Klerk is almost next to Sekhukhune when the latter starts running and Gayakwad, swooping in from extra cover, hits the stumps at the batter's end to compound Sekhukhune and South Africa's woes. Sekhukhune was not even in the frame. A rush of blood at just the wrong moment, and India edge closer to a win! 324/7
151.5 SHAFALI HAS TAKEN A WICKET! India are delighted. Fuller outside off stump, stayed low, goes through the defence of Klaas to take her off stump. Turned in sharply 357/9
