(Batting tactics) I was training pretty hard before the comp (BBL) and I was talking to Jimmy our batting coach and it was mostly because the wicket was pretty sticky. So we were just hoping 160-170 and that was our goal. And finally, we got it. So I'm happy for that. (Gold chains) I love gold, man. Even, I just ordered one gold Oakley and I'll be wearing them next game. I couldn't wear this one in this game because it was a bit cloudy and the next moment was sunny (laughing). So yeah. Pretty happy with the win man. (Catching chance in the last over) No, that was because the weather was pretty cloudy on the ball before that, I just had it on my back (Sunglasses). And the next ball, it was all sunny. So, yeah. I'm gonna be a meme tomorrow I reckon."

The Sixers had a poor start to the innings and lost both of their openers in the powerplay. With Patterson being bowled out by a stunning Wrong-un off Waqar, they were in dire straits. Silk and Henriques made a feeble attempt to salvage the innings. The Hurricanes bowled beautifully, keeping the line and length throughout the innings. Although the Hurricanes were playing without their captain, the players did a good job of covering each other with the bat and the ball. All six of the bowlers who were used took wickets. Jordan claimed the most wickets among every bowler with three. After five games, the Sixers dropped the first match of the season. The Hobart Hurricanes moved up to fourth place after today's victory.
