- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR2.2 Banton can't out-intent Dwarshuis! He tried to pepper the leg side again, with a front-foot whip across the line. Got the front stool out the way and generated high bat speed but got a leading edge to point. 131ks ball was full and at the feet, a bit of a reaction to the batter's early movement but a brave choice after the boundary last ball. Excellent catch from Murphy too, who probably didn't spot it first up but got his hands up to the right to pluck it last second 20/111.5 Is it another 'how did he do that' catch from Silk? He's not sure, but it's sent upstairs. Low catch, fingers underneath but did the ball graze the ground as he picked it up. He absolutely screeched to his left from deep midwicket, the right foot was on the ground, then the knee went down as the left leg propelled him forward. He took it with both hands but it stuck i his right hand, which he scooped up with ball in hand. In essence, oops yes, he's done it again! 72/36.6 Holy hell, that would have been a catch you wouldn't believe a human took if it wasn't for Silk. Dude's made it seem regulation but that was anything but. He was charging to the right from deep midwicket, mostly leaning down cos the ball was coming down. He covered a lot of area, got inside the line and took it with both hands and so much assurance. Was a 93ks ball on a length, perhaps fuller side, on off that Munro pulled with decent power and timing 44/215.5 Murphy outdoes McSweeney in his own game. The batter, like he did earlier in the over, charged down to pump him over the line. This time though, the pace was 100ks - maybe 15ks more than the last one - and a touch wider than the last one. So, it was a bit of a drag, not too much but a point of difference, and a diagonal-bat shot, not the straight bat shot lie it was last mile 101/612.1 Taken at long-on! Renshaw tries to flick a length ball on top of the bounce. Maybe it was a touch fuller than length, but Renshaw was walking towards the line of the ball, Closed the bat face, maybe wanted to flick it along the ground. But he lobbed it to the deep fielder in the end 74/413.1 Cutter does him in! Bryant wanted to cut it through point, wanted the boundary, but the three-quarter-length ball on fourth stump took a feather and the keeper took a low catch. Ump takes a bit of time to confirm but does so. May have bounced more than he expected. Bryant was on off stump, that across movement didn't help 80/519.1 Slower one catches Tall Paul off guard. He was too early into the pull. Trying to drag the cutter from just outside off wasn't the best option either. Top edge balloons to the keeper 127/818.4 Low fully FTW! Not a great ball, down leg but that was by design. Bartlett was standing on leg and middle instead of just outside leg. He slid the front leg outside leg stump to get inside the line of the full toss. Of course it'd have been wide had he left it, but he tried to whack it over deep-backward square. But he holed out there thanks to an excellent running catch. Bartlett walks back to the remixed version of Country Roads being played 125/719.2 Dwarshuis on a hat-trick thanks to bumpers. This one pace-on. Angling in at the body, Johnson was hurried on the pull. Looped it straight to midwicket. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR2.2 Just another Sunday in the universe of James Vince dismissals. Think he was taken out like this in the Ashes a while back. Of course, footwork needs no priority in T20s but there was none here. Again, part of convention but on instances like this, where there is away swing, the risk of playing with an open face grows manifold. Vince stood leg side of the ball and wanted to punch it through mid-off, outside edge took it wide of first slip, who went down and took a good catch. Good captaincy to keep him there 13/17.5 Finally some luck for Tall Paul and Heat. Finds the edge off the powerful cut and it's caught behind easy. Was a length ball around seventh stump that Patterson wanted to crash square of the wicket, didn't move his feet, got a thickish edge but without much of a deflection. Went straight in the keeper's direction, but the damage seems to have been done already. But can this wicket inspire a comeback from Heat? 67/2Extras5 (lb 3, w 2)TOTAL142/2 (16.1 Overs, RR: 8.78)Fall of wickets: 1-13 (James Vince, 2.2 ov), 2-67 (Kurtis Patterson, 7.5 ov)
