That's it from us today. Hope you all enjoyed our coverage. Don't miss out Sudarshanan's match report here. I am Srinidhi, signing off on behalf of Ekanth, Sudeep and Vairavan. Good night, and take care!

Cam Green is the Player of the Match: "Obviously, great game. We found form in the last few games, couldn't win initially. but we were still in the hunt. So many high scores [in the tournament], we needed to come and take early wickets, we did that today. Wicket was amazing, there was something in for everyone. We identified that pace on is easy to play, Khaleel bowled a lot of off-cutters which were gripping and tough to target and we tried the same in our bowling. We were hoping that sets the innings. Thankfully, no dew. I got enough time in India to get used to these conditions, there is a bit more in it for bowlers, Chinnaswamy is a small ground but there is help for bowlers."

Faf du Plessis: "Brilliant, we have put up a great performance. It's just confidence. First half of the season, we were just fighting for it. First five or six games, we couldn't get wickets, now three times or so we have bowled opposition out. Sometimes people talk about match-ups but then you just has a left-hander with the ball spinning in, you hope things work out. Swapnil's done well. Lot of work has gone behind the scene. I feel like behind closed doors, we are getting it right, we are talking about our process and what we need to achieve. I feel there is a lot of variety in bowling as a skipper, six-seven options, you asses the conditions and see what you can do. Yash has been exception. Lockie has been brilliant. Both [batting and bowling] needs to have a full crack. We want to be bold. Even today, we played swing up front and bounce upfront, we had 60-odd in powerplay, guys are pushing."

Rajesh tells me: "18-run win for RCB (scoring 200) will take them past CSK, so a game of small margins."

Lockie Ferguson: "It's nice to get a few wins there. We were trying to have a good time, working really hard. We played to our potential. We are looking to finish [the group stage] with a win. Batters did extremely well. The start was excellent with the ball, getting in the early wickets, it made my job easier. Looking forward to a few days off and then the Chennai clash. It's been great working with Griffith (bowling coach)."

Axar Patel : "I think if we had taken the catches we put down, they would have been 20-30 short and we should have chased 150 easily. But if you lose four in the powerplay in a chase of 180 then you're only left playing catch-up in the game. 160-170 would have been par here because the ball wasn't coming on that easily when the fast bowlers were bowling and the ball was stopping a bit. If two main players are run-out and you lose four in the powerplay then like I said you're left playing catch up. And that's what happened today, we can say those were unlucky. Anything can happen from here [for playoffs] but let's see."

11.06pm: Fifth consecutive win for RCB and with this 47-run victory, they move to fifth position with 12 points and stay in the playoffs race. What a turnaround this has been from du Plessis and Co. DC, with 12 points, are behind RCB and occupy the sixth spot. They too can still qualify. After Jacks, Patidar, Green lifted RCB to 187 for 9, the bowlers gave them early wickets to leave DC four down inside the powerplay. But Axar's fifty kept DC in the hunt. However, there was little support from other batters. DC dropped as many as four catches in the first innings and it definitely hurt them. In the chase, Fraser McGurk and Stubbs' run-outs were two big moments that dented DC's chances.
