Many thanks for all your comments and feedback. It's time to move over to the next match - Wolves versus the ones they are programmed to hate, the Sunrisers. Ciao ciao.

Thirimanne: "I thought we were 10-15 runs short, our bowlers gave a good fight, but we should have got around 170 on this wicket. We didn't expect running like that from Tendo, so the credit goes to him."

Brendon McCullum: "Thanks to the guys who have got this opportunity to shine on a world stage. (Tendo's running) was crazy, but the options they took during the middle overs were phenomenal. It's a very proud moment for us to be representing New Zealand here."

How well did Tendo play? For a man who joined the team today, he played an excellent hand here. At one stage, it looked like Kandurata were getting back into the match after dismissing Brendon McCullum, but Tendo just took them by surprise with his clean hitting, especially that over in which he hit those three consecutive sixes, to put the chase back on track. Otago Volts are now through to the next round. Kandurata have to now hope that Faisalabad Wolves can edge past Sunrisers Hyderabad, and they win their next, and Otago beat Sunrisers, etc, etc...Basically, it is difficult..

pravin: "Umm..not necessarily " Otago Volts are now through to the next round" . If Sunrisers lose today and on 20th both Sunrisers and Wolfs win , there could be a 3 - way tie on 4 points and NRR would decide the qualifactions .. Just saying !!"

James: "James Neesham won't get the headlines, but he's had a decent day. Wicket of Sanga (never a bad one), and seeing his team home here." ---- True James, excellent partnership between Tendo and Neesham, and their running between the wickets was just outstanding.

"Will Sangakara Play For Sunrisers If They Qualify.?" Sorry Nabeel, as much as we would like to see Sangakkara play, he made his choice before the start of the tournament.

Dilhara to ten Doeschate, OUT, he finally holes out at deep square leg to a super catch from Kula! It was a quick short delivery and Tendo goes for the pull. It looked like it was in the gap, but Kula makes a lot of ground from deep midwicket and dives to gobble that up just in front of the boundary

Nine off three overs, Otago are favourites from here.. but only just.

Sagar: "Everyone on earth seem to know how talented Tendo is, barring the KKR team management! Keeping him on bench and forcing him to write diaries for cricinfo during the IPL (no matter how good they are) is a crime and an insult to KKR fans like us."

Jayasuriya to ten Doeschate, 1 run, he comes down the pitch early and the bowler bowls it short, but Tendo chops it to short third man for a single to keep the strike

Jayasuriya to ten Doeschate, SIX, well this ends up in the stands again! He gets a low full toss and it's whacked hard over deep midwicket

Stuart: "As an Essex man and a huge fan of all forms of county cricket, I love the fact that Tendo is always available for us other than when he's at the IPL. Very underrated player and legend in Essex."

Jayasuriya to ten Doeschate, FOUR, he shuffles around in the crease, but then scoops the full delivery just over the left of short fine leg

Nick: "Ten Doeschate looks like hes had an easy winter. Bit of a belly on him and sucking in the big breaths with all these quick 1s and 2s. Just shows the talent of the man that he can still time it like this even if not match fit. Otago are underrated. Riding high on confidence, soon to be 12 straight wins."
