Akmal, Lions spinners knock Dolphins out
Robbie Frylinck's all-round display was not enough to stop Dolphins from becoming the first side to be knocked out of the tournament in a game that looked a lot closer in the end than it actually was

7.20pm And that is that. Hope you enjoyed the game, and you can hop over herefor commentary from the match between Chennai Super Kings and Perth Scorchers. From me and Chandan, it's bye bye.
7.15pm Presentation time.
Mohammad Hafeez has a smile on his face, but looks just a touch haggard. "It's a beautiful game of cricket and we know that T20 can give you anything," he says. "Umar Akmal was exceptionally good and Saad Nasim gave him excellent support. Everyone chipped in very well. We were very confident, we knew we had very good spinners, and they have done a really good job."
Umar Akmal is the man of the match He thanks the crowd for their support, and says the captain simply told him to "go out there and show your talent". He dedicates the award to "my mom and dad and wife."
Hezb Khan: "Amazing performance from the birthday boy. Din't win the match but surely dented NRR of Lions. CSK win tonight and they are through to the Semis based on their high NRR"
And here's Frylinck. They came off every part of his bat, he says, pointing to the middle and then to the edges. "Someone's got to lose, unfortunately. We came so close in the first game, unfortunately I got two balls wrong."
Morne van Wyk "We just haven't clicked, we arrived prepared really well. The Perth game could have been so different so easily, and you know what the consequences of that might have been [he's talking about those sixes off the last two balls from Mitchell Marsh]."
INFAS: "What an innings he played for CSK"
7.05pm And that is that. What an entertaining finish to a match that was headed for a one-sided finish. Frylinck, who had already taken three wickets, hit the ball so cleanly during that unbeaten innings of 63, and reached his half-century in 20 balls. Has anyone had a better 30th birthday? Only thing he couldn't do was win the game for his side, but that wasn't his fault by any means.
Ahsan Malik: "We are just trying to give Frylinck a good time on his birthday thats all this clearly shows how much Pakistani's care about there fellow cricketers "
