7pm Morgan collects the trophy and is joined by his team-mates. That is all we have for you from the ODI series. Alan Gardner's report should be your next stop. Looking forward to your company for the one-off T20 as well. Until then, it's goodbye and good night from myself, Deiva, Gnasher, and Binoy.
6.50pm Presentation:
Sarfraz, Player of the Match: I am happy with the team's performance. We have had a tough series. Coach and captain asked to play positive cricket and we had nothing to lose. Good to see Shoaib bhai play well. We know he [Dawson] was playing his first match and we attacked him.
Joe Root, Player of the Series: You want to contribute every time you are in the middle. Even today at no point did we stumble. Trent Bridge was a great marker, and we want to go further. The most exciting thing is we can still get better, going into this winter and the Champions Trophy. You want the guys around you to be able to go out and express themselves, and they are doing it consistently.
Azhar Ali, Pakistan captain: We wanted to finish on a high. We have had a tough tour. It was a much-needed victory for us. We pulled it back brilliantly, the bowlers deserve credit after we have too many runs to start with. The way Imad Wasim held it back, it was brilliant. Amir and Hasan Ali brought that total down to reachable. Few youngsters are coming in like Nawaz, Imad, and Hasan Ali looks good. Chasing 300 gives us satisfaction. We have to play good cricket consistently.
Eoin Morgan, England captain: No absolutely not [regret the two changes?]. Great opportunity to get Liam Dawson an ODI debut. We have a big winter coming up. He could be used as a third spinner. I am very proud of this group of players. We lost a game today but we still put in a reasonable performance. In terms of highs, Trent Bride was the highest level.
6.35pm Coach Arthur is on his feet, and Pakistan fans in the stands celebrate the victory. England's first ODI loss this summer, and that denies them a clean sweep. Pakistan lost Sharjeel early in the chase of 303 when he scooped a catch to mid-on, Azhar only flickered briefly, but Sarfraz and Malik put them back on track with a century stand. They took regular trips down the pitch and neatly wedged the ball into the gaps, before debutant left-arm spinning allrounder Dawson created some panic by dismissing both the set batsmen. Rizwan and Imad, however, held their nerve at the death to seal a consolation win for the visitors. This is only the sixth time that Pakistan have successfully chased a 300-plus total in ODIs, first outside Asia.
ismail lahori: "Imad Wasim 4th time not out in this series. Good stuff."
Hassan: "Great victory chasing 300 plus against England in England but not to forget some key bowlers for England were rested for this game"
Zeeshan: "Imad has an average of 76.66 now. Not bad for number 8"
Mohsin Satkut: "This boy Imad has shades of Yuvraj Singh #JustThinking #EngvPak"
ziyad: "Muthu, who's your man of the series?" --- Sarfraz/ Root
Faiq: ""PAKISTAN ZINDABAD""
