5.1 well, Cheema has a wicket after all those boundaries, can't say he deserved this one, Jayawardene came charging out and absolutely middled this pitched up delivery, he just did not get enough elevation as he looked to go over the off-side infield, and found extra cover, where Hafeez held onto a sharp high take 33/1
7.1 Cheema has his revenge, he has bounced Dilshan out, Dilshan went for the pull even as the ball reared at him very quickly from back of a length, in no position at all for the shot, still plays it, a top-edge results, Ajmal manages to hold on somehow as he tumbles forward around midwicket, seems to have hurt his leg a bit 43/2
42.1 and he's struck first ball, a furious Sanga trudges off, he gave Cheema the charge immediately, looked to swing a length ball from outside off through midwicket, but the massive inside edge disturbed his stumps, Sanga swishes his bat angrily in the air as he looks at the damage behind him 182/8
8.4 Younis Khan the outstanding slip catcher pouches a stunner, Chandimal ended up guiding the sharp straightening length delivery between the keeper and Younis at wide slip, nothing shot, Younis quickly goes low to his left and snaps it up cleanly, how many batsmen does this shot consume in limited-overs cricket, they check for the no-ball, it was close, but Gul had some part of his foot behind the crease 47/3
14.3 gone, Pakistan's catching has been high quality today, Umar Akmal latches on now at point, it was a very wide delivery, Thirimanne went down on his knee to try and guide it past Akmal, but ended up hitting it close to his right, Akmal moved quickly, got his body behind the line of the ball and took it safely 65/4
35.3 Ajmal has gone through Tharanga, and then taken off on a run, the doosra, bowled with superb control, tossed up around off, draws Tharanga forward, he leaves a gap between bat and pad as he plays down the original line, the ball turns in a tad to go through the gate and rattle the stumps 161/5
37.1 Ajmal strikes again, what is it with Sri Lanka and Powerplays, Maharoof goes for the sweep, it is the doosra, turns away from his swing, he can only spoon it off the toe end of the bat to square leg 165/6
40.3 he's been given, Kula looks surprised as he walks back, 150th ODI wicket for Gul, who dug in the angled bouncer to Kula, it reared up around head height, he looked to pull it but could only edge it down the leg side to the keeper 172/7

44.4 a miss and a hit, Malinga departs, he backs away and has a heave, looking to go over midwicket, is nowhere near the line of the length ball which crashes into the stumps 187/9
45.4 that is it for Sri Lanka, down the wicket, tries to hit his way out of confusion, not a bad approach, but he gets too much under this tossed up ball as he charges at it, and scoops it up for long off to run in and slide forward to complete the catch 188/10

11.2 what a tame dismissal, but the bowler deserves credit for this one, he has done Hafeez in the flight, enticed him forward, then it dipped on him, Hafeez, already stretching a long way, went for the cover drive nevertheless, and only got it as far as backward point who dived forward to take a low catch 31/2
8.4 Jamshed has fallen to the pull, Dilshan had gone the same way, hurried into the shot by a skiddy short ball outside off, and only ends up lobbing it for mid on to come in and settle under it 29/1
12.5 and another one goes, Pakistan in big trouble, a hole that they have dug for themselves with a timid start, Younis looking to flick vigorously through midwicket, he had fallen on this shot against Bangladesh too, what a catch from Maharoof, though, it was dying on him as he ran in from mid on, got his hands to it, but it almost rolled out as he went down on the ground, he somehow balanced it in one hand, even as it whirred on his palm like a spinning top 33/3

38.6 he perishes, but after having set up Pakistan's win, wanted to finish it with another six over midwicket, instead he ended up hitting it high, almost vertically, in the air, I don't envy the fielder who has to settle under it, it is Tharanga, and he does a very good job in the end, tumbles down on the ground around midwicket, remains there for a moment, but he has pouched it 185/4
