That's it from us tonight. Thanks again for following along, whether in Nepal, the USA, in the Caribbean or anywhere else in the world. I'm Peter Della Penna, good night!

TKR captain Kieron Pollard: "What was evident for us today was execution against the power hitters. I thought that was brilliant, but it was set up by the excellent opening spell from Ali Khan and the youngster Jayden Seales. We want to try to protect [Seales] as much as possible but in the heat of the moment sometimes you have to throw him into the fire. The couple times he has come on, he has shown the capacity to handle that sort of pressure."

Tallawahs captain Rovman Powell: "We talked about not losing early wickets and to find myself and Chadwick back in the pavilion early is a problem. It was a little bit sticky but that's not a reason for us not to score runs. We have to improve our catches and too much simple misfields. But we don't become a bad team after one game. The self-belief and spirit is still there."

Sunil Narine named Man of the Match: "I've been training [during lockdown]. It's good to go out there and perform so your hard work is not in vain but it's just the start of the tournament. I'd like it to continue because I do well at the start of tournaments and don't carry on but my aim is to try to continue as much as possible and see how much I can really do. "

9:45 pm Munro ends one short of a half-century. Puts his arm around Nicholas Kirton and whispers something to the Tallawahs No. 3. TKR goes to 2-0 in the early part of the tournament. Tallawahs fall to 1-1. Tallawahs had very little likelihood of defending such a meager total, but the dropped chances made it even more remote.
