Islamabad United didn't succumb to pressure in a crucial match and the win was set up by that partnership between Salman Ali Agha and Shadab Khan; they kept them ahead in the game. Haider Ali seized the opportunity and entertained us royally with his flair, ending the match with some eye-catching strokes. Mir Hamza took 3/41 and bowled some pearlers, Muzarabani was exceptional returning 1/24 and Zahid got 1/30. 150 didn't prove enough as nobody from Karachi could play an innings that could provide impetus towards the end. An early collapse meant they had to take a precautionary approach. There were a few tight moments but with no real scoreboard pressure, Islamabad smartly picked ones and twos in the middle overs and accelerated towards the end. They were never really in any major trouble in the chase. That is all from this game. For now, it's goodbye and goodnight from Rvel Zahid. Ciao!

shahzaib: "The only mistake that Shaheen has made was winning 2 consecutive PSL trophies with a previously dead-beat franchise. He has not done much wrong, the absence of Rashid Khan, leave Lahore without a good specialist spinner and a middle-over bowler."
