Australia v Scotland - #BendTheRules moments

Pat Cummins celebrates the wicket of Nasir Jamshed Associated Press

The spell which Pat Cummins produced against Scotland, where he claimed three wickets, helped Australia thrash their lesser-accomplished opponents Scotland by seven wickets in Hobart on Saturday.

Cummins, who missed Australia's last match due to a side strain, left Scotland's top-order grappling for answers against the new ball. His partner Mitchell Starc drew first blood and claimed two early wickets.

It was then that Cummins came to the fore with an impressive display of swing bowling. His first victim was the top-scorer Matt Machan, who fell for 40.

Scotland's batsmen didn't have an answer to the quality of the Australian attack and lost wickets regularly. Cummins dismissed Mathew Cross in the 17th over and then Rob Taylor two-overs later. His tight bowling-display, post recovering from his injury, qualifies for the for #BendTheRules Moments of the day.
