238.33 - The bowling average of Australia in the Rawalpindi Test is the second-worst for a team in a Test where they bowled 1200-plus balls. The worst is Pakistan's 388.5 against West Indies in Kingston in 1958. Australia's bowling strike rate of 468 in this match is also the third-worst for any team in a Test.

177.75 - Pakistan's batting average in this match, the fourth-highest for a team in a Test match (600-plus runs). The best is 312 by South Africa, whose batters scored 624 runs at the cost of two wickets against England in 2012.

8 - Number of Test matches with worse bowling averages than the 88.84 in Rawalpindi (minimum 2000 balls). The bowling strike rate of 175 in this Test is also the 11th worst in a Test match (min 2000 balls).

10 - Imam-ul-Haq became only the tenth batter to score centuries in both innings of a Test for Pakistan. He is only the third opener with twin hundreds in a Test for Pakistan.

3 - Number of century stands by Pakistan and Australia's opening pairs in Rawalpindi. It is only the third Test match to feature three-century opening stands. Australia (1) and England (2) had three-century opening stands between them in the 1946-47 Adelaide Test. India had three 100-run stands before the fall of the first wicket against Bangladesh in 2007 (two partnerships ended due to retire ill/hurt).

153.25 - Batting average of opening batters in the Rawalpindi Test, the highest in a Test match while aggregating 500-plus runs. They narrowly edged out the 1972 Georgetown Test between West Indies and New Zealand, where the openers averaged 152.25.

3 - Number of hundreds by Pakistan openers in Rawalpindi - Imam (2) and Abdullah Shafique (1) - the first instance of three hundreds by Pakistan openers in a Test match. It is only the eighth time where the opening batters of a team scored three hundreds in a Test. Previously, India's openers had achieved the feat against South Africa in 2019.

2 - Number of wickets for the opening bowlers in this Test match - one each for Sajid Khan and Naseem Shah. These are the fewest wickets for the new-ball bowlers in a Test when 600-plus deliveries were bowled. Their bowling average (186) and strike rate (384) is the second-worst behind the 1938 Johannesburg Test between South Africa and England (231 average and 472 strike rate).
