Golden State Warriors rookie center James Wiseman could return from a wrist injury Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, and it sure seems as if many a fantasy basketball manager should be watching this. After all, Wiseman, the No. 2 pick in the 2020 draft, is rostered in 54.5% of ESPN standard leagues and we all want to believe the best is yet to come. Even now, Wiseman has averaged 12.2 PPG, 6.2 RPG and 1.3 BPG, which has to pique our collective interest, even if it does not turn into 16 and 9 just yet.

We are still a bit shy of the halfway point of the NBA season, and it is quite clear who is the top rookie for real and fantasy basketball, but after that, there remains much uncertainty. How many rookies even warrant our attention -- and is Wiseman one of them?

As we look ahead, here are one analyst's predictions on the eventual top-five rookie rankings for fantasy basketball this season!
