The TMR 200: Week 15 rankings

A miracle. Or a nightmare.

Seems as if most matchups last week turned into one of those two, depending on your perspective, as an alarming number of studs chose Week 14 to have one of their worst performances this year, if not ever. So if you survived Peyton Manning and all of the Broncos receivers, Drew Brees and his corps, the Eagles no-show, Keenan Allen's visit to Revis Island, Josh Gordon being about as effective as he was when he was suspended, starting the wrong Giants running back or any of the other unlikely outcomes of Week 14, a tip of the virtual cap to you, my internet pal.

Same goes in reverse. If you managed to have Julio, Jordy, Le'Veon, Cam, A.J., Rodgers, DeMarco, Matt Ryan, Lacy, Wilson, Ben, Joique, C.J., Luck, Calvin or anyone else who went off ... good on you. And even more impressive if you faced more than one of those guys and advanced. It's one of the reasons I like the ESPN Standard League format so much, with playoff matchups lasting two weeks.

But as crazy as last week was, with both really huge performances and really brutal ones, it was just one week. So you'll see I am back on Peyton and the Broncos passing offense this week, as I feel, in addition to being a good matchup in good weather, that Peyton wants to make a point this week. Big game coming. Despite all the fireworks from Monday night, the sledding will be a little tougher for Green Bay on the road against a legit Bills defense. Oh, you're still starting all of them, but I don't expect a repeat of Monday night's game against Atlanta.

For the wide receiver-needy among you, as Julio Jones, Torrey Smith and Andre Johnson are banged up and no sure things for Sunday as of this writing and Brandon Marshall is out for the year, you'll find a number of potential replacements in the ranks this week, including Charles Johnson, Marquess Wilson, Marqise Lee, Kamar Aiken and more. And defense is a place where you can often make a big difference, so be sure to check the ranks there to see if you can make an improvement.

As always, these rankings will change throughout the week, so check back often, including Sunday morning. And congrats on having a reason to read these in Week 15!
