Man United to draw with Inter? Juventus to over Tottenham in ICC?

Our banker bet landed in midweek as Wolves ran out easy 4-0 winners against beleaguered Newcastle in the Asian Trophy. There's International Champions Cup action to look forward to this weekend as well as Friday's African Cup of Nations final.

Running total: -£18.25

The Banker

The African Cup of Nations signs off on Friday evening with a fascinating final between Algeria and Senegal. The bookmakers have Algeria as slight favourites and this comes as something of a surprise given how good Senegal have looked in the knockout stages.

Algeria edged the group stage encounter between the teams 1-0 and this has clearly influenced the bookmakers' thinking but Senegal have kept four clean sheets since that defeat and have looked rock solid with Kalidou Koulibaly and Cheikhou Kouyate at the heart of their defence.

To win any major tournament you also need a bit of luck and fortune was clearly on their side in the semifinal against Tunisia as a bizarre own goal in extra time helped them squeak to a 1-0 win.

That said, they are here on merit. Even during that 1-0 defeat to Algeria, Senegal were unlucky. They enjoyed 55% possession while Sadio Mane had what looked a clear penalty waved away. There is a fantastic balance to this side and they should be backed to claim a first ever African title here.

Selection: £5 on Senegal to win at 17/10 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

The International Champions Cup kicked off this week and runs till June 10. Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are all involved and the Red Devils face Inter Milan in Singapore on Saturday. The clubs are currently at odds over the valuation of striker Romelu Lukaku but the Old Trafford outfit look rather flimsy favourites here and a punt on the draw might not be the worst bet at 5/2 with bet365.

On Sunday, Juventus play Tottenham (also in Kallang) and the Italian giants look a fair price at 21/20. Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt will add steel, youth and class to the Juve defence this season and they can edge past Spurs in Southeast Asia.

Finally, add in Arsenal to see off Fiorentina at 11/10. Unai Emery's side got their ICC campaign off to a flying start by beating German champions Bayern Munich 2-1 in midweek with young star Eddie Nketiah impressing for the Gunners. The treble is paying over 14/1 with bet365 and looks well worth a punt.

Selection: £2 on the treble at 14.06/1 with bet365.

The First Goal Flutter

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has been grabbing the headlines in Egypt after scoring three goals in the tournament but Rennes striker M'Baye Niang has looked lively and he is a big price at 8/1 to score first. Niang has not scored yet but has worked tirelessly up front and boss Aliou Cisse is clearly a fan. It's the biggest game of his career and the 24-year-old may just choose the biggest stage of all to break his scoring duck in Egypt.

Selection: £2 on Niang to score first at 8/1 with bet365.
