TOP STORY: Joao Felix might be trading LaLiga for Premier League soon
Chelsea are lining up a move in January for Joao Felix, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The future of the 23-year-old Atletico Madrid forward has looked uncertain in recent weeks with links emerging of a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano. Now it's reported that Chelsea are keen to acquire Felix on loan, with the LaLiga side expecting an offer from Stamford Bridge when the transfer market opens.
Atletico would require a loan fee should the deal go through, with previous reports indicating the figure would be in the region of £8 million.

Felix has also been linked with Arsenal, but with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly willing to get a deal over the line quickly, it looks as though they have taken pole position in the race for his signature.
The winger is coming off a strong showing at the World Cup where he started four of Portugal's five games in the tournament, netting one goal and two assists.
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Graham Potter isn't stopping at Felix and is also looking to add a centre-back as he continues to explore reinforcements for his squad.

21.47 GMT: Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has no plans to reconsider his future at the club, according to Mundo Deportivo. Coach Xavi Hernandez reportedly wants the 36-year-old Spain international, whose contract expires this summer, to remain in the Catalan capital through the 2023-24 season. Busquets is said to be open to remaining with the Blaugrana for an additional six months, allowing him to join Inter Miami CF in MLS ahead of the 2024 season, but not for the entirety of next season -- a solution that the Barca staff find unsatisfying.
21.14 GMT: Tottenham Hotspur are set to break the British transfer record after reaching an agreement with Chelsea to sign forward Beth England, according to the Mail. The 28-year-old England international will make the switch to the north London side for a £250,000 transfer fee, which breaks the record previously held by Chelsea's £200,000 signing of Lauren James from Manchester United in 2021.
20.41 GMT: Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. With Chelsea and Manchester United both said to be showing interest in Denzel Dumfries, it looks as though the Serie A side see the 25-year-old Morocco international as a potential successor.
20.18 GMT: Ajax left-back Daley Blind is set to become a free agent ahead of the January transfer window, the Eredivisie club have confirmed. Despite the 32-year-old Netherlands international having six months left on his contract at the Johan Cruijff Arena, he and the historic Dutch club have mutually agreed to terminate the remainder of his deal.
19.45 GMT: AS Roma have given centre-back Chris Smalling an ultimatum, writes Corriere dello Sport. Jose Mourinho's side reportedly want to sign the the 33-year-old former England international to a two-year extension, but their latest offer doesn't include a pay rise. The ex-Fulham and Manchester United stalwart's contract expires this summer, and now in his fourth year in Serie A, is on the radar of Juventus and Internazionale.
19.12 GMT: Manchester United are on the lookout for a potential loan signing after missing out on PSV Eindhoven attacker Cody Gakpo, who is on the verge of joining Liverpool, reports the Telegraph. The Red Devils are reported to have gone over their transfer budget after spending more than £200m to improve Erik ten Hag's squad in the summer, and the Old Trafford hierarchy have been reluctant to make more funds available to contest for signings on a permanent basis in January.
18.39 GMT: Atletico Madrid have seen their opening offer for Real Betis striker Borja Iglesias rebuffed, reports Eurosport. The Spanish capital club have moved quickly to sign 29-year-old once-capped Spain international with an offer including a transfer fee in the region of €30m, but the Seville club are demanding €40m for the player who is contracted at the Estadio Benito Villamarin until 2026.
18.06 GMT: Leeds United are set to propose an offer for FC Salzburg centre-back Maximilian Wober, writes Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old Austria international, who captains the Red Bull-backed club, could be available for a transfer fee in the region of €16m, and the Premier League side are looking to open negotiations with an €11m offer.
17.33 GMT: A plethora of LaLiga clubs are monitoring the situation of Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. With the 30-year-old's contract not set to expire until the summer of 2025, the Italian capital club are said to be looking for a transfer fee of €30m to part ways with him, and it is reported that Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla and Villarreal, have all shown interest in securing his signature.
17.00 GMT: Don Hutchison and Julien Laurens explain what Mykhailo Mudryk could bring to Arsenal. Sources have told ESPN that Arsenal have submitted an opening bid of around €65 million to Shakhtar Donetsk.
16.18 GMT: West Ham United boss David Moyes had made it clear that he doesn't want to see Declan Rice leave the club.
The England midfielder has been linked with a move away for some time, most notably to Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester United, and is eager to play in the Champions League.
"He wants to win and he wants to play for a really good side, which is going to give him that opportunity to do so," Moyes said. ""We hope that we can reach the Champions League. It is looking difficult at this time.
"But we're not just going to roll over and let Dec walk out of the building, that is for sure. It is going to be a big fight. I like it because he wants to challenge himself and he wants to play in the big games and be a top player. I don't think you're ever going to hold anybody back from having those ambitions."
15.40 GMT: Calciomercato reports that Benfica are interested in signing MLS star Jhon Duran.
Duran, 19, plays as a winger for Chicago Fire and made his international debut for Colombia in September.
Benfica believe that Duran can follow in the footsteps of fellow South Americans Darwin Nunez and Enzo Fernandez in making his name at the Portuguese club.
Brentford, Fulham and Aston Villa are all said to be interested, but Benfica have lodged a transfer offer worth €10m plus a further €5m in potential add-ons.

Liverpool's response to that dilemma has now been made clear by their move to sign Cody Gakpo in a £37 million transfer from PSV Eindhoven -- a deal that has been done so quietly and efficiently that the Netherlands forward could be signed and sealed at Anfield as soon as the winter transfer window officially opens on Jan. 1.

13.33 GMT: Dario AS reports that Manchester United are keeping tabs on FC Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa in case they don't agree a new contract with David De Gea.
De Gea, 32, is out of contract at the end of the season but the Red Devils want him to take a significant pay cut on a new deal.
The 23-year-old Costa impressed with Portugal at the World Cup but it would take €80m -- a world record for a goalkeeper -- to get a deal done.
12.50 GMT: Barcelona have added Napoli defender Giovanni Di Lorenzo to their list of targets as they look to strengthen at right-back, according to Diario Sport.
Di Lorenzo, 29, has a contract with Napoli until 2026 and is unlikely to leave the Serie A leaders mid-season, not least because of Barca's financial situation, but a deal could be possible in the summer, the report adds.
Barca's first choice target is said to be Villarreal's Juan Foyth, although the transfer fee is once again prohibitive.
Borussia Dortmund's Thomas Meunier and Bayern Munich's Benjamin Pavard have been linked as low-cost alternatives with their contracts expiring in 2024.
Hector Bellerin and Sergi Roberto are the only recognised right-backs in Barca's squad at the moment -- although coach Xavi Hernandez has often preferred centre-back Jules Kounde ahead of them -- and both are out of contract in the summer.
12.05 GMT: Real Madrid want Bayern Munich and Canada star Alphonso Davies as their left-back from 2024, according to Diario AS' frontpage story on Tuesday.
The LaLiga giants' scouting reports on Davies, 22, are "unbeatable" the newspaper says, while his World Cup performances -- despite Canada finishing bottom of Group F -- also impressed.
With Davies' Bayern contract due to expire in 2025, AS reports that Madrid would hope to negotiate a cut-price deal a year earlier, just as they did when signing Toni Kroos from Bayern in 2014.
11.22 GMT: Barcelona believe they are the front-runners to sign striker Youssoufa Moukoko if he decides not to extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund, reports Diario Sport.
Moukoko, 18, has so far failed to agree to an extension with the German club with his current terms due to expire at the end of the season. If he does not renew with Dortmund, Barca feel his desire to move to Camp Nou will help them see off Premier League interest to land the Germany international.
According to the report, Dortmund could look to transfer Moukoko in January to avoid losing him for nothing in the summer, with several English clubs said to be monitoring the situation.
However, Sport says Barca hope the teenager will sit tight until the end of the season and ignore bigger offers from elsewhere to join them if he opts against signing a new contract with Dortmund.
The report adds that a renewal with the Bundesliga side should not be ruled out, though, with Moukoko grateful for everything they have done for his career so far and aware he would be guaranteed more playing time if he stays put for now.
There would be no such guarantees at Barca, where Robert Lewandowski currently wears the No. 9 shirt, with support provided by Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Memphis Depay.
10.30 GMT: Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed the club are looking to sign a striker in January amid the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo last month.
Ronaldo's departure has left Ten Hag with just Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as the only recognised strikers in the squad. United are looking at available options ahead of the January window but Ten Hag has hinted a new signing might not necessarily materialise.
09.43 GMT: Liverpool have beaten Manchester United in the race to sign winger Cody Gakpo after agreeing a deal with PSV, the Dutch side announced on Monday.
Sources have told ESPN that the fee of the deal is around £37 million ($45 million) and that the sides are close to finalising his arrival in the January transfer window. PSV did not disclose the value of the deal, but general manager Marcel Brands said it will be a "record transfer" for the club.
09.00 GMT: Arsenal have submitted an opening bid of around €65 million for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk, sources have told ESPN.
The 21-year-old is Arsenal's top transfer target in January, and the club have made an early formal move, although their offer -- €45m up front with €25m in add ons -- is well short of Shakhtar's €100m valuation and is likely to be rejected.

- Al Nassr have scheduled a medical for Cristiano Ronaldo, writes CBS. The Saudi Premier League side are hopeful of confirming the deal before the January transfer window opens, and the latest report indicates they are now in the final stages of their pursuit to land the 37-year-old striker. Ronaldo is set to sign with the club on a two-year contract worth $75 million per year.
- Luis Suarez looks set to complete a move to Gremio, according to Cesar Luis Merlo. It is reported that members of the club's medical team will travel to Uruguay to advance the move, with the 35-year-old striker set to sign a two-year contract until December 2024. He last featured Uruguay Primera Division side Nacional.
- U.S. men's national team defender Tim Ream has extended his stay at Fulham for another year, the club announced Monday. Ream has been with Fulham since 2015, and the 35-year-old told Fulham's website that he's not ready to retire yet. Ream, who scored his first Premier League goal on Monday against Crystal Palace, is coming off a strong World Cup where he started all four of USA's matches.
- Adama Traore is attracting interest from Napoli, writes Calciomercato. The Serie A side are assessing potential future replacements for Hirving Lozano, and with Traore set to enter the final six months of his contract at Molineux in January, they could look to persuade the 26-year-old winger to make the switch from Wolves.
- Multiple Premier League clubs are tracking Aleksandar Mitrovic, reports Ekrem Konur. The 28-year-old forward has been in impressive form for Fulham in the Premier League this season, and continued his form with a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Monday. Aston Villa, West Ham and Everton are all reported to be keen on his signature.
- Atletico Madrid are confident of landing Caglar Soyuncu, reveals Mundo Deportivo. Talks have already taken place regarding a move for the 26-year-old Leicester City centre-back, who is believed to be prioritising a move to the LaLiga side. Set to enter the final six months of his contract in January, he will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free transfer in the summer.
