Rafinha's father has taken to Twitter to say speculation that the Barcelona star is set for a return to Celta Vigo is "a lie."
Rafinha, 23, spent the 2013-14 season on loan with Celta, making 32 appearances under current Barca boss Luis Enrique.
Reports in El Desmarque suggested a return to Celta could take place but Mazinho opened a Twitter account to respond.
He said: "All the news coming out about Rafinha in relation to Celta Vigo is a lie."

Rafinha's sister Thaisa then tweeted to confirm Mazinho's account was reliable and set up by him after it was questioned.
Rafinha, who only made 13 appearances for Barca last season, is currently on international duty with Brazil ahead of the Rio Olympic Games.
