West Ham to sign Andre Ayew and Arthur Masuaku - Slaven Bilic

LONDON -- West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has confirmed deals for Andre Ayew and Arthur Masuaku are close to being completed.

Swansea City striker Ayew, 26, is reported to be on the verge of a £20 million switch, and sources told ESPN FC on Saturday that Olympiakos left-back Masuaku had been identified as cover for the injured Aaron Cresswell.

Speaking after West Ham's 3-2 friendly defeat to Juventus on Sunday, Bilic told reporters: "It's only a matter of paperwork. We are going to have two new players at West Ham."

West Ham may face a battle to hold onto France playmaker Dimitri Payet, though, after his impressive displays in the Premier League and at Euro 2016.

Asked if there had been any offers for the 29-year-old, who has been linked with Real Madrid, Bilic said: "It doesn't work that way.

"I am not the one who is getting offers for West Ham players. I read in the papers like everyone else. I would be surprised if he wasn't getting offers.

"He is happy here, but I can't wait for the transfer window to finish."
