Adriano considering Barcelona exit in bid for regular playing time - agent

Adriano may seek a move away from Barcelona this summer in search of more playing time, the Brazilian defender's agent has revealed.

Adriano, who is under contract with Barca for another two seasons, started 10 La Liga games for the Catalan giants in their Treble-winning campaign.

"Adriano is very happy at Barca," Adriano's agent Paulo Afonso said to Catalan sports newspaper El Mundo Deportivo. "He gets on well with everyone and has had an incredible history there.

"But he wants to play, he wants more minutes and that is the only thing that makes him ponder a move away from Barca."

Adriano, 30, joined Barca in 2010 from Sevilla and has made 106 appearances for the Blaugrana since.

"We are listening to offers and once we have one that convinces the player, we will meet with the club to find the best possible solution for the two parties," Afonso said. "We want a club that offers him more playing time and one that will play in the Champions League.

"Adriano is very grateful to Barca for all these years and for all the titles he has won there."

The Brazil international has won three Primera Division titles, two Champions League trophies and two Copa del Rey crowns in his five years at Barca.

Barca lifted the Primera Division, Champions League and Copa del Rey this season under first-year coach Luis Enrique, becoming the first outfit in Europe to ever win the Treble twice.
