Finland and CSKA Moscow midfielder Roman Eremenko has been suspended for 30 days by UEFA, the Finnish Football Federation has said.
A reason for the 29-year-old's suspension has not so far been given, but reports in the Russian media suggested it could be because he has been using snus, a Swedish tobacco substitute.
Eremenko did not play in his country's World Cup qualifier against Iceland on Thursday, while CSKA said the UEFA disciplinary committee would meet to discuss the case in the next month.
In the meantime, the player will miss matches including a Champions League double-header against Monaco.
