CHICAGO -- UConn guard Solo Ball sat out his team's 72-54 victory over DePaul on Sunday with a minor injury.
Ball, a 6-foot-4 junior guard, is averaging a team-high 15.4 points per game. He scored a career-high 26 points on 8-for-14 shooting in Tuesday night's 79-60 victory over Butler.
Ball started the first 12 games of the season for the fifth-ranked Huskies. He made 99 3-pointers while averaging 14.4 points in 35 games as a sophomore.
Without him, Alex Karaban scored 21 points for the No. 5 Huskies, who shut down the Blue Demons to improve to 12-1, 2-0 in the Big East. DePaul dropped to 8-5, 0-2.
