Twins activate Ricky Nolasco, Brian Duensing off DL

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Ricky Nolasco and reliever Brian Duensing were activated off the disabled list after Friday night's game.

Nolasco, who has been out since April 11 with right elbow inflammation, is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox. He started one game earlier this year, giving up six earned runs in three innings.

Duensing has been on the disabled list since April 17 with a right intercostal strain. He has been in six games this year, earning one save with a 7.36 ERA.

To make room, Tommy Milone and Caleb Thielbar were sent to Triple-A Rochester.

After earning a spot in the rotation in spring training, Milone made four starts and was 2-1 with a 4.76 ERA. Manager Paul Molitor said he wants Milone to work on being more aggressive in the strike zone.

In six appearances out of the bullpen, Thielbar allowed three earned runs in five innings.
