UFC expert picks: Will Derrick Lewis get going, and if so, can Chris Daukaus stop him?

The UFC is finishing the year in a big way -- with a battle of heavyweight contenders.

Derrick Lewis will take on Chris Daukaus in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas (main card at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+, which also has prelims at 4 p.m.). ESPN has Lewis ranked No. 4 in the world at heavyweight, with Daukaus at No. 7.

This is very much a crossroads fight for both men. Lewis is coming off a TKO loss to Ciryl Gane in an interim title fight at UFC 265 back in August. He's fighting to stay in the contender picture. Daukaus, meanwhile, is 4-0 in the UFC with four KO/TKO finishes. A victory over Lewis would be by far the biggest of his career.

Can Lewis, the hard-hitting, durable veteran, keep his spot near the top of the heavyweight ladder? Or will the up-and-coming, well-rounded Daukaus make a major move toward a title shot? ESPN asked some of the top coaches in MMA for their analysis and predictions.
