Giannis Antetokounmpo drops 32 points, helping the Bucks beat the 76ers at home. (1:34)

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out his team's 140-129 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday because of left hamstring soreness.

Damian Lillard had 31 points and 16 assists and Bobby Portis had 31 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bucks to the win.

Antetokounmpo missed his first game since March 4 against the LA Clippers, when he did not play because of a left Achilles issue. He is averaging 30.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game.

Antetokounmpo's absence came as the Bucks got wing Khris Middleton back. Middleton was in the starting lineup for his first game after missing more than a month with a left ankle sprain and scored 22 points.

Milwaukee moved 1½ games ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second-best record in the East.
