Rounds 2 and 3: Winners and questions

I love the second day of the NFL draft because it's when you get to see classes truly take shape. Day 1 always draws a huge reaction, but the picks on Day 2 are players teams expect to become solid starters, they just don't have to carry the "first-rounder" label for the rest of their careers.

Here are my favorite pick combinations and biggest question marks from Rounds 2 and 3.


Liking it

I thought Eddie Goldman could go at No. 32 to the Patriots, but Malcom Brown was there. The Bears have a need for a clogger in the middle and I think Goldman getting to them at No. 37 was a great value. While Hroniss Grasu isn't a splashy name early in Round 3, he hits another clear need on the Bears' roster. The Bears didn't have the names you see in bright lights, but they hit clear needs with good value.
