Aviva Premiership club Bristol have announced the appointment of New Zealander Bruce Reihana as skills coach.
Reihana, who won two caps for the All Blacks and spent nine years as a player with Northampton, will move to Bristol from French Top 14 outfit Bordeaux-Begles.
He will become part of a new Bristol coaching team for next term, headed by current Connacht boss Pat Lam.
"The addition of Bruce to the coaching set-up is a major coup for us," Bristol's acting head coach Mark Tainton told the club's official website. "Not only is he an excellent coach, he knows the English game and what is required to break down opposition defences here.
"He understands Pat Lam's philosophy, and wants to promote an exciting brand of rugby.
"There is no denying Bruce was an exciting and influential player during his career. We look forward to seeing him bring that innovation to his coaching of our young squad next season."
Bristol, meanwhile, confirmed the signings of wing George Perkins and lock Ehize Ehizode for next season.
Perkins, who helped England win the Six Nations Under-20 title last year, will arrive at Ashton Gate from Saracens, and Ehizode has been recruited from Wasps' academy.
Tainton added: "It's great to have two more young, hungry and ambitious players joining us.
"George has blistering pace and plenty of experience, having represented England through the age grades and Saracens in the Premiership.
"And Ehize is coming to the west country for a fresh challenge. He is a physical specimen with all the attributes to be a top-quality lock if he continues to work hard and show the right attitude in training."
