Henry Slade, Sam Underhill and Ruaridh McConnochie will all miss England's World Cup warm-up Test against Wales on Sunday due to injury, Eddie Jones has confirmed.

Slade has suffered a knee injury, while Underhill and McConnochie will be absent with toe and hip injuries respectively, Jones said ahead of the Twickenham Test.

Joe Cokanasiga will replace Bath teammate McConnochie in the backline, with Jonathan Joseph and the uncapped Lewis Ludlam stepping in for Slade and Underhill.

Meanwhile, Courtney Lawes and Manu Tuilagi have been added to the replacements bench.

While McConnochie's injury sees him miss out on an England debut, scrum-half Willi Heinz will make his on Sunday.
