The Franchise QBs: Final rankings of the top signal-callers in Eagles history

We've identified the top all-time quarterbacks for every NFL team and asked our NFL Nation beat reporters -- and you, the fans -- to help us determine each signal-caller's place in franchise history.

What follows is the final ranking of the top quarterbacks in Philadelphia Eagles history, both from our NFL Nation reporter and our final fan polling.

NFL Nation ranking:

1. Donovan McNabb

2. Ron Jaworski

3. Randall Cunningham

4. Norm Van Brocklin

5. Michael Vick

The NFL is a quarterback-driven league, and the Eagles have zero championships since 1960. These two things are not mutually exclusive. McNabb was one of the league's best during a good portion of his 11 years in Philadelphia and guided the team to five NFC championship appearances and one trip to the Super Bowl. Yet it is telling that the unquestioned top QB in Eagles' history is far from a lock for the Hall of Fame. Jaworski and Cunningham are legends in Philly, and Vick was electric during his post-jail run. There have been some very good ones, but when it comes to truly elite quarterback play, Philadelphia has been a bit short-changed. -- Tim McManus
