Rivers is the organization's career passing leader and face of the franchise as the Chargers transition to Los Angeles. A six-time Pro Bowler, Rivers should be in the conversation for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame once his NFL career is over. Already in the Hall of Fame, Fouts was the director of "Air Coryell" during the 1970s and '80s, and still holds the franchise's single-season passing record (4,802 yards). A two-time Pro Bowler and four-time AFL All-Star, Hadl was a member of the franchise's only championship team; the Bolts won the AFL title in 1963. Brees started his NFL career in San Diego, playing for the Chargers for five seasons. He helped lead the team to the playoffs in 2004 and will be in the Hall of Fame once his playing career is over with the New Orleans Saints, with whom he won a Super Bowl. Humphries helped direct the Chargers to the team's only Super Bowl appearance after the 1994 regular season. -- Eric D. Williams
