Making the case for Allen: He had a whopping 9.7 yards per carry last year and is expected to take over the B-back position vacated by Jonathan Dwyer. Allen should have no problem becoming the Jackets’ next 1,000-yard rusher, and it’s not only a product of the system. He’s tough to tackle and has rushed for 1,728 yards and 26 touchdowns in his career, including 1,102 yards and 20 touchdowns in his first two collegiate seasons at Louisville.
