Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan held the most exciting recruiting events within the Big Ten this past weekend and all lived up to the hype.
The Spartans hosted the premier game, with No. 7 Oregon coming to East Lansing along with College Gameday -- and over 150 visiting prospects.
This was a huge game for Michigan State to get some of the top 2017 in-state prospects on campus, especially because the Spartans came away with a win. A few of those bigger names, including ESPN Junior 300 targets Donovan Peoples-Jones and K.J. Hamler, tweeted out a few pictures.

Michigan State played at 8pm ET and Michigan played at noon, so Peoples-Jones was able to swing both visits in one day.
The hype surrounding the game created an exciting atmosphere for the visiting prospects in East Lansing. ESPN Jr. 300 defensive lineman Fred Hansard tweeted out a pregame video showing what it was like to be on the field.

ESPN 300 Oregon commit Jared Mayden also gave the fans a look at what it’s like to be a recruit by filming a short video of himself running out of the tunnel on his Michigan visit.

The Wolverines came away with the first win of the Jim Harbaugh era and while it wasn’t a huge visitor list, that win will go along way with the recruiting efforts in Ann Arbor.
Ohio State has done a lot of winning under Urban Meyer, so the victory against Hawaii was expected. The Buckeyes had some big recruits on campus for the weekend, the biggest being ESPN 300 defensive lineman Antwuan Jackson.

Jackson was joined on the visit by some of the commitments, including 2017 commits Danny Clark and Todd Sibley, who were trying to do as much recruiting as possible.
