The 5 biggest football recruiting questions after signing day

Oregon won national signing day on Wednesday, the first day of college football's early signing period, with Alabama also making headlines with the No. 1-ranked recruiting class.

That was just the first day, though, and not the finish line for this 2023 recruiting class. Despite five-star high school teammates Jaquavious Russaw and James Smith announcing for Alabama, there are still a few unsigned five-stars who are either uncommitted or looking to flip their current commitment.

After a wild Wednesday that saw 276 ESPN 300 recruits sign their national letters of intent, some teams skyrocket up the rankings and others plummet, there are still some big questions pertaining to this recruiting cycle as January and February approach.
