Indiana sophomore guard Dan Feeney will miss the 2013 season with a right foot injury.
Hoosiers coach Kevin Wilson announced Tuesday that Feeney, who set a team freshman record by starting all 12 games last fall, suffered a Lisfranc fracture in his foot during last week's scrimmage.
Feeney was to start again at right guard, where he earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors in 2012.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Feeney did not allow a sack in 935 snaps last season and finished second on the team with 54 knockdowns. Sophomore Jake Reed likely will move into his spot.
Feeney has a redshirt season available and will retain three years of eligibility.
