The 2022 NCAA volleyball tournament began Dec. 1 and crowned the Texas Longhorns champions on Saturday night in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Longhorns, the top overall seed of the tournament, swept another No. 1 seed, Louisville, in the championship match. It was the third national championship for Texas volleyball, the first since 2012.
Louisville was making its first appearance in the championship and was hoping to give the ACC it's first national title in volleyball.
